Vatican to investigate Kear miracle
Community Content
Family and friends of Chase Kear called his recovery from a severe head injury a miracle last year. During his hospitalization, several people prayed to Fr. Emil Kapaun, a Kansas priest who died in a Korean P.O.W. camp. Kapaun is a candidate for Sainthood and now the Vatican is sending a representative to Kansas to investigate Chase's story.

As both a Christian and a physician, I think it is important to believe in miracles. However, I have seen many patients following severe head trauma requiring craniotomies undergo various levels of recovery including near full recovery. So I'm not sure that I understand how this particular case is a miracle.

I believe that these are not "supernatural"they are "supremely natural" because I believe that God heals all sickness and sin. I believe this Chaplain should be annointed into Sainthood. I'm not Catholic but what this man did in Koreawas nothing short of what Jesus would have done and did for his friends and those that believed in him. Be not faithless! BELIEVE. Many people have been healed by PRAYER ALONE!:)
