It seems to me that this wa pointed out on Criminal Minds a while back in regards to the star and his weapons and the tribal police chief. This isn't rocket science guys.

Most people are not aware of this unless they have received special training in self defense, particularly with a handgun. I thank Blackwater USA for the training I received. I wouldn't trust my life on something I saw on a fictional tv show.
